1) How long does it take to reach Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves from Aurangabad by taxi. Also what is the cab fare for each?
- Aurangabad to Ajanta is approx 2hrs road journey and and Ellora caves (from Aurangabad) is at 1hr distance. You may find State transport buses/ rented cars for the same.
2) What all should I carry while visiting Ajanta & Ellora. I have heard torch is a must.
- There is optic fibre light in caves for clear viewing of paintings within the cave, you need not carry the same.
3) Also, is wearing sandals more sensible as we need to remove shoes outside every cave.
- As per our info, you are not required to remove shoes outside every cave (unless they are muddy)
4) Is 1 day enough to cover both Ajanta and Daulatabad? Please help.
- Yes both Cave and fort can be covered in a day span.
